47. Dry Plums Cake (QUEQUE DE CIRUELAS SECAS) Back


  • 1 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup natural yogurt
  • 1 cup dry cooked and chopped plums
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Mix sugar and oil, add eggs and beat. Sift together the dry ingredients and add them to the mix alternating with yogurt, mixing to prevent clots from forming. Add the dry plums, nuts and vanilla.

Put the mix in a greased rectangular pan. Cook in a medium heated oven for 45 to 60 minutes.
