35. Pancakes (PANQUEQUES) Back


  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • Dash cinnamon
  • Dash nutmeg
  • Oil

Combine the first 7 ingredients un the blender, mix for 1 minute. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

Brush the bottom of the pan with oil. When the oil is hot, not smoking, pour 3 tsps. of butter into the pan. Quickly till the pan to cover the bottom with the butter. Cook the pancakes for 1 minute.

Turn the pancakes when the edge lifts easily and it shakes loose from the pan, cook the other side for about a half minute. This side of the pancakes is a spotty brown which is the side where the filling is places. To store longer stack of pancakes between layers of waxed paper and refrigerate.
