  • 24 small mushrooms

Put the water and the butter in a small saucepan and add the mushrooms and the pieces of onion. Simmer for about 10 to 15 minutes until it is soft. Drain.

Cut the scallops across so that you have 48 pieces and wrap each one in a piece of baked bacon. Push the scallop wrapped in bacon on a skewer, and then add mushroom, then a scallop, 4 mushrooms and 3 pieces of onion.

Put the skewers on a charcoal grill or under an electric broiler or on a cast iron griddle, turning until well done.
