36. Strudel Back


This recipe makes 3 strudels

  • 2 cups flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 3 tbsps butter melted
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • Salt
  • 1 egg
  • 8 apples
  • Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup raisins

Combine all the ingredients until dough is uniform. Rest for 30 minutes.

Separate dough into 2 halves. For each half, stretch in rectangular shape until very thin. Grease the dough and put half of the apples pealed and sliced on top and then sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon and raisins.

Roll and close extremes. Bake for 45 minutes. If you prefer add 1 cup milk cream with cinnamon and sugar to taste. Bathe several times with mixture during cooking.
